Step 1 - Export a Skills Report (CSV) from Parner Center

  1. Navigate to Partner Center
  2. Click Dashboard
  3. On the left hand side, click MPN
  4. Click Competencies
  5. Click Download skills report

Step 2 - Download the Power BI Template

Step 3 - Copy the File Path of the CSV File

  1. Navigate to directory which contains the CSV export of the skills report from Partner Center.
  2. While holding down the SHIFT key, right-click on the selected file and click Copy as path.

Step 4 - Instantiate the Power BI Report

  1. Open the Power BI Template
  2. Paste the path from your clipboard into the prompt and click Load
  3. Save the Power BI report

Congratulations! You have just instantied a Power BI report on top of your export from Partner Center. This will enable you to glean some immediate insights on that data as well as provide a starting point for ad-hoc analysis.
